O VII Encontro de Jovens Investigadores em Hist\u00f3ria Moderna \u00e9 uma iniciativa apoiada pelo Grupo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Imp\u00e9rios, Colonialismo e Sociedades P\u00f3s-Coloniais e coloca em di\u00e1logo estudantes de mestrado e de doutoramento cujos temas de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o se relacionam com a hist\u00f3ria moderna ib\u00e9rica e espa\u00e7os coloniais, entre os s\u00e9culos XVI e XVIII.<\/p>\n

Breve nota biogr\u00e1fica de Raffaela Sarti:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raffaella Sarti teaches Early modern history and Gender history at the University of Urbino, Italy, where she is the Director of the lifelong learning program on Gender History, Globalization and Caring Democracy. She has also worked in Paris, Vienna, Bologna, and Murcia. She is the President of the Societ\u00e0 Italiana delle Storiche (Italian Society of Women Historians). She is a member of the editorial collective of Gender & History and of the editorial board of Passato e Presente. Her studies address the history of work, particularly domestic service and care work; Mediterranean slavery; marriage and celibacy; family and material culture; gender and the nation; masculinity; graf\ufb01ti. She is the author of approximately 200 publications in nine languages, including Europe at Home: Family and Material Culture 1500\u20131800 (New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 2002) and Servo e padrone, o della (in)dipendenza: Un percorso da Aristotele ai nostri giorni (Bologna: Alma Mater Studiorum Universit\u00e0 di Bologna, 2015). She has edited several volumes, among which What is Work?: Gender at the Crossroads of Home, Family, and Business from the Early Modern Era to the Present with Anna Bellavitis e Manuela Martini (Berghahn, 2018).<\/p>\n
