We wish to open doors to everybody who work locally to explore the realities of Timor-Leste, as well as to foreigners who aim to contribute to the advancement of knowledge on their multiplicity of aspects. In the wake of previous TLSA initiatives, this conference will focus on the broad field of Social\u00a0Sciences and Humanities including History, Anthropology, Sociology, Geography, Psychology, Political Science, Gender Studies and others. However, it is open to contributions from other fields, such as Agriculture and Hard Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for panels and papers should bear in the mind the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Panel proposals: each panel session should have 3 or 4 papers. There can be multiple sessions of one panel<\/li>\n<li>Papers: should be read in 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the number of people in the panel<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be selected to a book of proceedings.
