The conference will take place on Google meet, on October 13, 2020, at 18h.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Esta comunica\u00e7\u00e3o pretende, em primeiro lugar, apresentar e debater a produ\u00e7\u00e3o e a apropria\u00e7\u00e3o das classifica\u00e7\u00f5es sociais na monarquia portuguesa entre meados do s\u00e9culo XVIII e os primeiros liberalismos. Em seguida, procura cruzar esse t\u00f3pico com os mais agudos conflitos sociais e pol\u00edticos que atravessam os contextos reportados. Debater as categoriza\u00e7\u00f5es produzidas pelos actores implica refletir sobre a forma como as classifica\u00e7\u00f5es horizontais se articulavam com as persistentes identidades corporativas num per\u00edodo de importantes transforma\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas e sociais.
