CFP: VII International Meeting of Young Researchers in Early Modern History (EJIHM) (new dates)

Due to the worsening of the pandemic situation wordlide, the Organizing Committee of the VII EJIHM decided to postpone its realization until the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of September 2021. The call for papers will now be open until March 14, 2021.

The call for papers for the VII International Meeting of Young Researchers in Early Modern History (EJIHM) is open. The meeting will take place at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, on 24th-26th September 2021

The EJIHM is a biannual meeting that, in more than one decade, has been giving opportunity for the presentation and debate of ongoing investigations related to Iberian History in Early Modern Age

All young researchers (master students and PhD students) are invited to submit abstracts on topics related to the Iberian Early Modern History and overseas territories, within the chronological period between 1481 and 1822.

Abstracts (500 words max), along with a short CV (100 words max.) should be submitted until 14th March, 2021, to the email address ejihm2021@gmail.com.

Papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English will be accepted

Ana Mafalda Lopes (PIUDHist – ICS-UL), Carlos F. T. Alves (PIUDHist – ICS-UL), Kevin Carreira Soares (PIUDHist – ICS-UL), Rui Rocha (PIUDHist – CH-UL) e Sónia Borges (FL-UL – CH – UL) belong to the organizing committee
