The Two Deaths of the Modern State in the work of António Manuel Hespanha

Ângela Barreto Xavier (ICS-ULisboa) will be presenting the conference “The Two Deaths of the Modern State in the work of António Manuel Hespanha” at the Permanent Seminar Iberian Worlds and Early Globalization, on the topic “Revisiting the desconstruction of the early modern state in the 1980s”. The conference will take place on October 26, 2023, at 4 pm (Lisbon), on Zoom.

This seminar is organized by the “Máster en Historia y Humanidades Digitales” of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, and the research group PAIDI HUM-1000: “Historia de la Globalización: violencia, negociación e interculturalidad”
